Brother Jonas main text was out of Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. He drew interesting characteristics from a palm and cedar tree and compared them to our Christian life. For instance, one amazing aspect of a palm tree is that the older it gets and the more storms it weathers the sweeter the fruit becomes- and so it is with the disciple of Christ, as we walk with God he allows storms to come and through these circustances our faith is increased. In the course of the message, Jonas challenged us with the thought that we should need to observe the fruits of our lives because its throught this observation that we can really see who we are.
